Configuring Variant Attribute at Taxonomy

Who can use this feature?

Super Users and PIM Users with Read/Write permission for Taxonomy module.

Available on Account with subscription to Taxonomy module.

Variant attributes can be configured at the taxonomy level to create and map variants for a product within that taxonomy node.

1. Click on the Settings  icon 

2. Click on the Taxonomy under Data Modeling.

3. To edit, either click on the 'No. of attributes' or select the 'edit' icon in the Action column

4. Click on the 'Configure variant' button .

5. Select the variant attributes for that taxonomy node and 'Save' the changes

You can add up to 5 variant attributes for a Taxonomy node

6. To remove an attribute from the Variant configuration, click on the 'delete' icon.

7. When removing an attribute from Variant configuration, select an action for the existing products..

'Delete all variants' will delete all the variant products in the taxonomy node.

'Unlink all variants' will convert all the variants into independent products within the taxonomy node.
