Configuring attribute settings at Taxonomy

Who can use this feature?

Super users and
PIM Users with Read/Write permission for the Taxonomy module

A. Configuring attribute settings for Taxonomy

1. Click on the Settings  icon  


2. Click on the Taxonomy under Data modeling


 
3. Navigate to Taxonomy settings page of a taxonomy node by clicking on the 'Number of Attributes'  


4. Click on the respective attribute group to which the priorities need to be assigned.


5. Below the 'Mandatory' header, click on the dropdown and choose the priority at the attribute level within the taxonomy.



You can select multiple attributes and click on the bulk edit icon in the header to apply priority settings.


B. Providing display order


1. To assign a display order to an attribute within a group, enter the desired number corresponding to the desired order in the value field under 'Display order.'


2. The attributes will be shown on the product detail page in the specified Display order.


 

You cannot assign the same order number to multiple attributes


C. Hiding Attributes


1. To hide an attribute, tick the checkboxes under "Hide attributes" to conceal a specific attribute


2. To hide multiple attributes within the attribute group, check the box under "Hide attributes" in the header.


Only Super Users or PIM users with access to the "Hide attributes" module can utilize this feature.


SKU cannot be set as hidden attribute



D. Configuring Attribute settings for Taxonomies in bulk

1. Choose the taxonomies to which you want to make changes


2. Click on the 'Taxonomy bulk edit'  icon 



3. Apply settings for multiple taxonomies at once
