Syndicating Products to WooCommerce

Who can use this feature?

Super users and PIM user with Channel subscription module access and who have subscribed to Woocommerce with valid API credentials.

Prerequisites

1. Channel subscription: Subscription to WooCommerce Channel with valid API credentials
2. Attributes, Taxonomy creation in PIMworks
3. Enriched Product Information, complying to the guidelines of WooCommerce channel
4. Channel Mapping: Map PIMworks attribute against WooCommerce attributes



Channel Mapping

1. PIM Taxonomy node to be mapped against channel node "WooCommerce CSG"


2. Variant field
    Parent SKU to be mapped
    Variant option# should be mapped for Variant products.

3. Custom field
    Custom attribute# option should be mapped against attribute field
(eg. manufacturer) 
    Custom attribute# position, Custom attribute# visible  should be mapped against Custom attribute#         position, Custom attribute# visible respectively  



Syndication from Product Detail Page: 


Users have the ability to send an individual product with or without variants to channel/store directly from the detail page of the product.


1. From the product list page, choose for the WooCommerce channel and store, then proceed to navigate to the detailed page of a particular product




2. Click on the 'Syndicate' button to send the product information to the Channel.


The 'Syndicate' button will only become enabled when the Healthcheck status is 100%


3. After the API status changed from 'Initiated' to 'Synced/Unable to sync', user will be able to download the API report and review the product status.


Product ID serves as the unique identifier assigned by the channel and is maintained within PIMworks for subsequent syndication purpose


Syndication from Product Listing Page:


Users have the capability to choose multiple products, including those with or without variants, and send them to channel/store directly from the list page


1. On the product list page, navigate to the WooCommerce channel and store and then proceed to select the products that are intended for syndication


User can search/filter option to filter products that needs to be sent to channel 



2. Click on the 'Syndicate' button to send the product information to the Channel.


Only products that have the healthcheck status as 'Pass' will be sent to the channel


3. To access the API report, navigate to the Product > Product Batches - Healthcheck batches



4. Users can download the API report by clicking on the download icon located under the Action section corresponding to the input batch name


5. Once a product has been successfully sent to the channel, users will receive a notification indicating that the synchronization process has been completed.


Variant Option # should have variation attribute values. Parent product should not contain the value for this. 


Users can send a maximum of 10 Variant fields from PIMworks


Custom attribute# option should contain attribute value (eg. Samsung for Manufacturer field) 
Custom attribute# position should have numeric data value 
Custom attribute# visible should be a boolean value (true/false)


Users can send a maximum of 5 Custom fields from PIMworks


If categories are not mapped for the products, then it will be labeled as "uncategorized" within the portal


To send an option product in WooCommerce option group name should be either of the below 
related, Upsell products, Cross_sell products.

Option products to be created as a product first before mapping it as option for another product.

Map option products under the specified option group name
