Mapping digital assets to multiple products in bulk

Who can use this feature?

Super users / Primary users and Users with Read/Write permission for Import and Digital Assets module
Available on Import/Export and Products with subscription to Import and Digital Assets module


1. Navigate to Import/Export > Import 

    Step 1: Choose Source

a. Choose 'From File' as the source for your import.

    Below is a sample file


1. When assigning image attributes, make sure to provide the corresponding image names from the digital assets
2. If images are organized within folders in the Digital Assets, include the folder name as a prefix (e.g., Mobiles/oneplus1.jpg). Use "/" as a delimiter
3. Ensure that both the channel and storefront are included and accurately mapped during the match label process
4. When dealing with variant products, remember to include and map the parent SKU on the match label screen


    Step 2 - Match Labels

a. 
Map the attributes in PIMworks to the corresponding attributes in your uploaded file.

b. Only attributes mapped in this step will be processed and updated.

c. You can save this attribute mapping as a template for future imports.



    Step 3 - Finish


a. In the Import Summary section, you can view the status summary of the uploaded file.

b. Click the 'View' button to access a list of products imported from your file.



2. On the product detail page, you can see the respective image URLs displayed against the image attribute for each product


If the file name of an image provided in the import file cannot be located in the Digital Assets repository, the data associated with that image will be retained in the attributes, but the actual image will not be linked or displayed
