Creating and managing Digital Assets

Who can use this feature?

Super users and PIM Users with Read/Write permission for Digital Assets module.
Available on all User Accounts with subscription to Digital Asset module


Images, Videos and all the documents and pdf are defined as Digital Assets in PIMworks

Creating and managing Digital Assets

1. Navigate to Product > Digital Assets under Products.

2. In Add Media file , you can either click and select or drag and drop files/images/videos. 

3. Summary will be shown below and users can use it for reference to check whether the file got updated or not.


4. User can create Folders and maintain the files in folders. 

You can organize folders up to three levels (Category, Sub-Categories/Models, Types/Variations)


5. User can also search image/file using the Image/file name.

6. User can export the image by clicking on download icon in the top right corner.


All the files uploaded in Digital Assets will be maintained in Amazon S3 Storage.


Storage size of an account can be increased by raising an upgrading request


Allowed Limit
1. Image upload limit is 5MB per image and for videos, it's 500MB each
2. You can upload up to 500MB in total for both images and videos in a single submission
