Who can use this feature? Super users and PIM Users with Read/Write permission for Channel Subscription and Manage connectors module Available on Accounts with subscription to Manage connectors module
Prerequisites
1. Valid Magento store
2. Channel Subscription with Valid API credentials.
1. Navigate to the Channel > Connectors - Manage connectors
2. Subscribe to the Magento channel, and add store, and provide valid API credentials.
Select the 'Sync components' you wish to sync from Magento to PIMworks and select the 'Configure settings'
Sync components 1. Taxonomy Sync - Retrieves Attribute sets from Magento into PIMworks 2. Category Sync - Retrieves Categories from Magento into PIMworks 3. Attribute Sync - Retrieves Attributes from Magento into PIMworks 4. Product Sync - Retrieves Products from Magento into PIMworks
Configure Settings 1. Auto sync - Automatically fetches Attribute sets, Attributes, Categories, and Products from Magento (based on sync component selection) and creates them in PIMworks 2. Configure sync - Users have the ability to map Attribute sets, Attributes retrieved from Magento to existing Taxonomy nodes and Attributes in PIMworks By default, 'Auto sync' will be selected for configure settings.
3. Once the credentials are validated, click on the 'Sync' button.
The 'Sync' button will only be enabled when the credentials are valid.
4. On the Connectors configuration page, select the store and click 'Proceed' button
5. Click on the 'Finish' button to complete the process; this will redirect you to a summary report.
6. On the Connector sync Summary page, you will find details like the file name, input source, uploader's username, upload timestamp, status, and an option to download the report.
Connector sync can be initiated for one store at a time. The report can be downloaded by clicking the download icon
User can have the option to review the summary report directly from the connectors configuration page.
7. Finally, on the Product list page, you will be able to see all the products that have been fetched from Magento.
