View and map Assortment ID and Store ID

Who can use this feature?

Super users / Primary Users and Users with Read/Write permission for Attribute module

Available on Accounts with Subscription to Settings > Attribute module

Prerequisites

Create Assortment ID and Store ID as 'multi-select' attributes
Configuration of values for the above mentioned attributes
Subscribe to the Custom Channel within PIMworks
Configure Stores for the Custom Channel

How does the feature work?

1. Navigate to Product > Product List

2. Choose Custom Channel/Store from the dropdown

3. On the detail page, users can view and select Assortment ID dropdown values specific to Business Unit Stores.

4. As per the Assortment ID selection, the system dynamically populates the relevant Store ID values in the dropdown, ensuring precise and efficient selections

5. Removing an Assortment ID instantly eliminates associated Store IDs from the dropdown, with permanent data deletion upon Saving the product.

Alternatively, this process is achievable through Input Import using File Validation, Task Management, Custom View, and PIMworks API          

In the event of invalid IDs being populated via Custom View or the PIMworks API, they will be visually marked in red on the detail page. Clicking the error toggle will prompt the system to filter and display solely those attributes with incorrect data

The dropdown values for Assortment ID and Store ID won't appear on the Attribute and Taxonomy page, nor will they be included in Attribute Export or accessible through the PIMworks API for retrieving attribute details.
