Generating Bigcommerce API credentials and adding tokens in PIMworks

Who can use this feature?

Super users and PIM Users with Read/Write permission for Channel Subscription module

Available on Accounts with subscription to Channel Subscription module

Prerequisite

1. Valid Bigcommerce store
2. Access to API

1. To generate API credentials, Log in to your Bigcommerce portal.

2. Go to "Settings" and select "API."

3. Choose "Store level API accounts."

4. Click on 'Create API Account'. Enter a name for the API account and grant modify permissions for 'Content' and 'Products.'

5. Click on the Save button.

6. Download the text file containing the credentials and make sure to save these credentials for use in PIMworks

How to Subscribe and add API tokens in PIMworks ?

1. Navigate to Channels > Manage channels

2. Search the Bigcommerce channel and click on +Add to subscribe the channel.

3. Click on the Edit icon to manage the store and add the required credentials.

4. Select the sync components to sync the information in PIMworks and select the required Configure settings

5. Add credentials and click on Save button

6. User have the option to add multiple stores and manage their respective credentials. However, ensure that credentials are not duplicated across different stores.
