Generating Amazon API credentials and adding tokens in PIMworks

Generating Amazon API Credentials

Prerequisite

1. Valid Amazon.com seller central 
2. Access to API 

1. Log into your Amazon seller central account:

    a. Log in to your Amazon seller central account using your credentials.

    b. Click on the 'Settings' located at the top-right corner of the page.

2. Manage Third-Party Apps:

    a. Scroll down and find the section labeled Third-party developer and apps.

    b. Click on the 'Visit Manage Your Apps.'

3. Authorize a New Developer:

    a. Inside the Manage Your Apps section, select 'Authorize new developer.'

    b. Provide the Developer's Name and ID.

    c. Click 'Next.'

You'll need to obtain PIMWorks Developer ID and Developer Name to receive tokens

4. Retrieve Seller ID & MWS Auth Token:

    a. After authorizing the developer, you'll receive your Seller ID and MWS Auth Token.

    b. Copy and paste both of these values.

When copying the MWS Auth Token, ensure you include the characters "amzn.mws."

Adding tokens in PIMWorks

1. Go to Channels >  Manage Connectors under Connectors

2.  Search for Amazon.com and click on the '+Add' option to subscribe to the Amazon.com channel

3. Click on the edit icon, to manage the store

4. Enter the valid store credentials and Save

Upon saving, PIMWorks will validate the provided credentials

User can add multiple stores and provide valid credentials for each of them
