Copying Options across stores

Who can use this feature?

Super users and PIM Users with Product List / Product Detail  module.

Available on Accounts with subscription to Product List / Product Details module 


Users have the ability to choose products based on option groups to establish links between the primary product and its associated option products. This functionality streamlines the process of linking option products across various stores, ultimately saving users valuable time. The action of copying option products can be executed from both the listing page and the product detail page.


Copying Options from Listing page


1. On the Products List page, start by selecting the products for which you want to copy option products. Once selected, click the 'Action' button.


2. The current channel you are in will serve as the source channel for this action.




3. In the popup window that appears, choose the destination channel and store where you want to copy the options to. Click 'Confirm' to complete the process



Copying Options from Detail page


1. Navigate to the Product Detail page by clicking on the SKU information of a product from the Products List page.


2. In the Product Detail page, click on the Action icon and select 'Copy Options.'





3. In the popup window, select the specific stores for which you want to copy options.


4. Use the option group selection dropdown to choose the option products you wish to copy. You can either select all products in the option group or pick the ones you need.




5. Finally, click "Confirm" to initiate the copying process, and the options will be copied to the selected stores.


Products can be copied from Master to Non-master channel and vice-versa.


When copying option products, the option group names are also included in the copy process.


The store selection popup displays a list of subscribed channels for your convenience.


Users can easily search for and filter products using the search option.


When performing a copy operation, please note that the quantity and its Unit of Measure (Qty, UOM) are not transferred, as they can vary between channels.
