Creating and linking variants for a product

Who can use this feature?

Super users and PIM Users with Product List / Product Detail  module.

Available on Accounts with subscription to Product List / Product Details module 

Adding Variants for a product

1. Navigate to Product > Product list under Products

2. Click on the SKU or Product name of the product from the Product List page for which you want to create a variant. This will take you to the product's detail page.

3. On the Product detail page, find and click the 'Add' button located in the Variant section.

4. Fill in the variant's SKU ID and product name.

5. Choose the fields you want to copy from the parent product.

6. Click on the 'Create' button to create the variant.

Linking existing products as variant product

1. Go to the product detail page of the parent product.

2. In the Variant right pane, locate and click the 'Link' button.

3. Choose the variant SKU(s) that you want to link to the parent product.

4. Click the 'Save' button

You can only link SKUs that belong to the same taxonomy node as the variant product
