Configuring Auto copy data template

Who can use this feature?

Super users and PIM users with Read/Write permission for the Auto copy data module

Available on Accounts with subscription to Auto copy data module  

Auto Copy Data in PIMworks facilitates effortless data replication between channels. Users can create templates to automatically copy product data from a source channel to multiple destination channels within the PIMworks platform. This feature eliminates the need to manually input attribute data for each subscribed channel

How to configure Auto copy data template?

1. Click on the Settings  icon 

2. Click on the Auto Copy data config under Data Modelling.

3. Click on the '+Create' button to configure a auto copy data template 

4. In Channel and store selection step, provide a name to your template. 

5. Choose a source channel from which you want to copy the data, and select the destination channel(s) where the data will be automatically copied and click 'Next' button. 

6. In Attribute selection step, select the attributes you wish to copy from Source to destination and click 'Next' button 

7. In Action step, choose 'Update missing data' or 'Override data'.

When the "Update Missing" action is selected, only the missing data in the selected channel will be copied from the source channel. 
When the "Override Data" option is chosen, all the data in the destination channel will be replaced entirely with the data from the source channel.

8. Click 'Finish' to complete the process

Data can be copied both from the Master channel to Non-master channels and vice-versa.
